This water distribution complex composed of more objects is located on the outskirts of Grgarske Ravne. The entrance to the underground water reservoir behind the village features the name of the building team that has built the entire system. There is also a large feeding trough nearby, which was used also for washing clothes. The remains of the text are still visible in the central part, but they are difficult to read. From the water reservoir, underground pipes run to the monumental complex with a beautiful water through. Above it, there is a stone plaque with the following text: PRINZESSIN MARIE ANNA V. PARMA BRUNNEN. Beside the trough, two stone banks are located and the adjacent wall features two plaques with the dates 1915 - 1916. In front of the trough, there is a high stone wall with a red marble plaque featuring a text by the Italian soldiers who penetrated towards the outskirts of Banjšice plateau.
In Grgarske Ravne one can visit the water distribution system and tank from World War I, which was built by Austrian soldiers. At the same time, the village washing through was built, where the women did their laundry and were chatting on the stone banks beside the washing through. A wall with two towers was also built then - it served as a defence against the enemy’s attacks. During World War I, the Austrian soldiers built a chapel with the St. Mary’s statue in the village, where they gathered for masses.

Description: The Herbal Centre in Grgarske Ravne was set up in order to enable the local people to process herbs and other raw materials of plant origin into sales products. Some of the dishes and drinks based on herbs and other raw materials of plant origin from the area presented in the Centre can be tried or even bought. The nice personnel of the Herbal Centre will give you all the information regarding the operation and activities of the Herbal Centre and its role in the area. You’ll also have the possibility to taste the tea made from manually picked herbs, or to turn over the leaves of the herbarium and to visit the exhibition. Not far away from the Herbal Centre two herb gardens and a Circular Herbal Walking Trail were designed.
